Safety lifeline systems
Safety lifeline systems can be used both to prevent falls and to arrest falls, tailored specifically for working at height. When collective protection is not possible or a discreet solution is needed for aesthetic reasons, a wire-based safety system is ideal for hands-free work at height.
What is a Safety Lifeline System?
A horizontal safety line system is a wire-based fall protection system installed near fall hazards. Users connect to the system using a unique traveler attached to a lanyard and harness. Once connected, they can move freely around the roof surface.
Our safety line system uses 8mm grade 316 stainless steel wire, allowing spans of up to 12m between posts and supporting up to three users.
Protecting Workers
A safety lifeline system ensures safe access to roofs for maintenance and inspection workers. It features a Progressive Absorbing System that, in the event of a fall, deploys shock absorbers, intermediate brackets, and support posts. This system reduces the load impact on the building’s structure to below 10kN.
